Take a walking tour from Fish Ladder Park at the Fourth St Power Dam along the river under Bridge St. Bridge, to Ah-Nab-Awen Bicentennial Park and down along the river to the Grand Rapids & Indiana Railroad “Blue” Bridge. Learn along the way the history of the West Side Water Power Canal, the businesses and industry it supported as well as early Native American historical sites.

The WEST SIDE WATER POWER CANAL TOUR begins at Fish Ladder Park. Free Parking at Fish Ladder parking lot or nearby street parking. Meet at the upper level of the Fish Ladder by 6:00 PM. See you there.

It takes about an hour and a half, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM. It covers about a mile of the riverfront walk.
